I inked this piece back when you drew it and mailed the original to Pat. I guess he had my inks framed and put it on his studio wall. I hope they always hang there.

Pat was kind of a coach and mentor to me and was always there to bounce ideas off of- he used to call and we would talk for 4 or 5 hours at a time about comics and drawing. He had made plans to spend a week at my house with my wife and I last summer but his health went sour so fast it didn't happen.... sigh.

Its been real hard to find direction and get my work back in gear without him- drawing really lost meaning after he passed.

I only recently started to pull it back together, honestly.

Man Franchesco! I still can't believe it because me and Pat actually talked about meeting up with other artist in the cons hanging out and having fun.

I mean damn! You have al these cool artist just dieing way to soon.
