Totally breaks my heart, but its so inspiring to see how she keeps on trucking like that!
Looking forward to seeing what she has up her sleeve, Dave. This year promises to be an all-new all-different Artists Alley... and no doubt, will be all kinds of awesome! Hopefully Angelo and the rest of the DA peeps will stop by and say hello! They are all so frigging awesome.
And speaking of sleeves... hoping you won't work your fingers to the bone as usual... and can't wait to see what you got cooking for SDCC2013!
Thank you, CONEIDA... I appreciate the compliment.
And you have me confused with someone who knows what they are doing... I am just making it up as I go along. No real rhyme or reason to speak of. (I basically go on auto-pilot... start pushing a pencil around a blank piece of paper... round and round it goes, where it stops, I sure as heck don't know... but its fun to see where it will end up each and every time.) Then of course I want to throw it away, and start over completely from scratch.
And again, and again... same here. I look at stuff that I draw, and the minute I am done, well... as done as it will ever be, since no piece is ever truly finished. Aside from the maddening "just one more tweak" part of the process. The minute its kinda-of-sort-of-done ...I wanna scrap it and start over again, DANYBOZ.
And thanks for the props on the pic buddy... much appreciated!
I love wolves... did one a while back... should be in my early gallery postings... featuring a character who turned into a wolf... or was it a wolf who turned into a girl... I forget which. Was for a popular group of books called moon calling or two moon or moon something or another... I think maybe her name was Mercy or something... man my memory is a mess... I know the stuff inside and out while I'm working on it, but then poof... all gone.
And thanks for the compliment on this image, MELANIE!!
